Sean J. O’Connor is a seasoned real estate professional with more than 25 years in the industry and currently serves as Career Advisor at The Keyes Company’s Boca East office, where he is also a licensed REALTOR®. His career has been built on relationships — helping clients, agents, and partners navigate real estate with clarity, confidence, and straight talk.
Working throughout South Florida — including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Deerfield Beach, and Fort Lauderdale — Sean is known for delivering thoughtful guidance whether someone is buying their very first home, negotiating a luxury purchase, or structuring a complex commercial deal. He has a particular passion for first-time buyers, pairing education with practical strategy so clients feel informed, not overwhelmed.
Sean’s background reaches far beyond traditional brokerage. He has served as Vice President of a Mid-Atlantic title company, partnered in land development projects supplying buildable lots to national homebuilders, and acted as managing member in private equity financing ventures — often juggling these roles simultaneously. That breadth gives him a rare, behind-the-scenes understanding of how deals are structured, financed, and closed. Colleagues value his ability to untangle complicated transactions and his commitment to supporting and educating agents so they can perform at their best.
Originally from Maryland, Sean entered licensed real estate at just 19 after years spent around the industry, including early hands-on experience at O’Connor, Hammel, and Butler, PA. He attended the University of Maryland, College Park, and still brings that early work ethic and curiosity into everything he does.
Outside of real estate, Sean keeps life active and fun. You’ll find him golfing, fishing, coaching youth lacrosse, or — on occasion — stepping onto a stage at The Improv to try out stand-up comedy. His mix of professionalism, humor, and real-world experience makes working with him both productive and enjoyable.
